Amorice was born to a mother that was all about enjoying life — even when she found her husband sleeping with her best friend. Needless to say, he was gone before Amorice was born. So, the world belonged to Amorice and her mother Dana. The two of them traveled from place to place when Amorice was very little. They settled in New York by the time Amorice was ready to enter middle school.

It was in middle school that Amorice found that she was not like most of the young girls. She was used to shopping at Hot Topic or Goodwill or making her own clothes with her mother. She loved music with a strong passion and she was not a spoiled rich kid either. She also found that she had two crushes on two different teachers during her junior high years, but they weren’t males. However, she never told anyone about it.

By the time high school came around, Amorice was hanging out with the band geeks and became one herself, learning as many instruments as she could, but she thrived at playing bass in the jazz bands. She was also talked into joining a punk band called Death to CheerQueers, which was a co-ed band.

Now, as a senior in high school, Amorice has come to terms with the fact that she is a lesbian, however, her awkwardness and socially inept behavior seems to always get her labeled as the gothic girl or the emo kid that always wore black and had very few friends. The only reason that she tended to be so quiet and reserved is because she is more into writing her thoughts and feelings rather than speaking them. For such a random girl, Amorice is quite shy.
